Mesa

Mesa celebrates the simplicity of cooking and sharing a home-cooked meal as an act of care, whether for yourself or others. It treats personal and family recipes as artifacts that build connection through sharing, expressed through a recipe box packaging, recipe cards, and a connected recipe-sharing app.

What inspired Mesa?

This project was inspired by my grandmother’s cookbook that she handwrote for me.

Mesa Typeface

Based on my grandmother’s handwriting. I created a typeface called Mesa Display.

But it doesn’t stop here

The Mesa app is a digital platform for sharing, discovering, and preserving personal and family recipes as stories. It transforms cooking into a meaningful experience by connecting people through the memories, culture, and care behind each dish.
